But mostly important, he is a great Polish prosaist and columnist – this year a new book Spadający nóż (A falling knife – red translate) of his was released, and more are on the way. And because he definitely too rarely decides to meet his readers – it is worth to make use of this occasion.

Joseph Roth (1894-1939) I a ironically melancholic eulogist of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, especially of one of the provinces – Galicia. If you were to search the roots to understand the central Europe, works of this quiet classic would deliver them in quite big quantities.

    A cameral opera
    CATS. USER’S GUIDE
words: Tomasz Majeran; music: Michał Wandzilak
Café club MLECZARNIA Włodkowica st. 5

To write something lyrically about cats after T.S. Eliott – you need to be brave. To write music to texts about cats after Andrew Lloyd Webber – you also need to be brave. Courage of this kind have Tomasz Majeran, who one day combined his being enfant terrible of Polish poetry with the function of a refined but noncommercial publisher, and Michał Wandzilak, a pianist known from many different projects of the music band Świetliki (The Skylights). Let’s hope that their cameral opera will have more iterations than a british musical.
